Acrylic on paper
This painting was created very quickly and spontaneously using fingerprints. The main source of inspiration came from the artist’s portrait photography. The photographs were not set-up or planned and this spontaneous action and expression is carried through into the painting process. This piece is titled ‘Over-Thinking’ due to the mindset of the artist at the time of creation.
It expresses the human condition of over-thinking and the feelings of insanity that accompany the act of over-thinking.
