I was walking home along the embankment after a day of walking in Venice. The sky was pink and the surface of the water was streaked with peach-colored highlights.
I was so impressed by this sight that I wanted to draw immediately.
I was inspired by the tenderness of the colors of the sky and water, the silence and clean air with the smell of seaweed and white wine.
This painting is dedicated to my mother.
