Artist's description:

This is a really large canvas called Mrs. Bartolozzi, created in 2010. The title derives from a song by Kate Bush, in which she sings about a washing machine. This pretty lady doesn't really seem to enjoy cleaning the toilet.

The background is painted in transparent layers of acrylic paint mixed with charcoal, and on top of that the figure is painted with oil paint.

Wired on the back, ready to hang.
