Artwork description:

No matter how much you’ve heard about war from veterans or eyewitnesses of that dreadful time period, we will never stop wondering how special, interesting and terrifying these stories are… You always come to conclusion that there is nothing more destructive and dreadful than war.
My grandfather lost his life in war, he gave his life for peace. And thanks to this I can live in peaceful time and paint. I’ll never be able to thank him for it but I’ll never forget that millions of people gave their lives to let others live in a peaceful time.
The painting «There is nothing more terrifying» it’s a remembrance of those who lost their lives in war, who sacrificed themselves for others without self-pity. This painting reminds how horrifying the war is and how many lives it claimed.
We should remember that if we live in peaceful times now, it means that somebody laid his life for this. We must never forget it!
