Reflections of objects in smooth metal are always interesting, especially when the metal is polished or chrome plated.
It's almost like a reflection in a mirror. I like the combination of turquoise and yellow, orange.
For me, it is like the sun and the sea. Turquoise objects attract me like a magnet.
This composition came about by chance, by itself.
It was just a bright, ripe orange, and there was a sleek metal coffee pot on the table.
And they stood on a turquoise napkin. And while no one bothered me, I quickly made a sketch. Then I just finished it a little. I didn't want to spoil the fresh impression by thoroughly registering the details.
Indeed, despite the small size and large strokes, this is a finished painting.
Among art lovers, some collect small paintings and sketches. I also consider myself to be such an amateur. Creating and constantly changing the composition on the wall is more interesting than just buying a large painting and hanging it up once and for all.
