Artist's description:

A new project of mine concerns cactus and succulents.
Delicate and inspiring work, will fit in every room of your house.
The following is an explanation of why I love cactus.
Thanks to their ability to accumulate water in their tissues, the cacti make it great in the desert areas. Since in the desert even the few living creatures that are there wish to find water, the cacti have turned their leaves into spines to protect themselves. Cactus represent the ability to adapt to the most unfavorable conditions. Succulents retain water (life) inside them, hiding it from external predators (adversity) and protecting them with thorns (courage and drowsiness). But cacti do not just survive in the desert: many species bloom with beautiful colorful flowers that contrast with their delicacy with the thorny surface. The flowering of the cactus is therefore more than simply coping with adversity: it symbolizes the triumph of life, perseverance, beauty and love. At the same time, the flower of the cactus, lasting only one day, is a symbol of impermanence and transience, and teaches us that we must always be ready to catch beauty in its fugacity.
