Artist's description:

'Ooh, Yeah' features an over-abundance of flesh - it imagines a landscape made up of breasts and body parts. I'm interested in images of objects multiplied, because one is interesting to look at so how about four or five or six or even a mound of them?

One of my favourite artists is Philip Guston, whose work is very different to my own but has a fleshy, earthy sense of being as well as objects piled high.

'Ooh, Yeah' shows my work becoming less tightly controlled than it has been in the past. My mark-making is looser, more sketchy and spontaneous, which I think is down to the influence of tagging and graffiti art.

Materials used:

spray-paint, enamel paint
