Artist's description:

China invaded Tibet in the year I was born. Tibetan culture, especially its temples and religious icons are being dismantled by the Chinese. Right now the most sacred and oldest temple at Lhasa - the heart of the Tibetan people - is being destroyed to make way for a shopping mall selling more consumer goods.

The painting is about this unequal battle.
A religious heart, monks with only prayers for weapons against tanks and fully armed soldiers.
