One whole mangosteens and one with the top half of the skin removed. There are so many exciting contrasts in these fruits: the slightly rough, red-violet outer skin, the yellow-green leaves with the massive green stalk; below the removed peel the whitish flesh surrounded by a bright red inside of the peel. In the background three shiny green leaves. The contrasts are further enhanced by the light gray background with beige colored rectangles.
