Original artwork description:

A richly glazed and iridescent oil painting of a woman lost in thought and cloaked in tendrils of sweeping colour and dreamy circles of light.

Threads of colour and swirling fabric surrounding figures is a recurring theme in my paintings. I try to use colour to describe the figure's internal thoughts and emotions. The out-of-focus bokeh are a more recent addition to my artistic iconography that represent memories and the passing of time.

The picture has been painted using high quality oil paints on a square stretched canvas. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas and it comes with appropriate fixings ready to hang straight onto your wall.

This is an original one-off artwork. I don't release prints of my work as I believe they can't quite offer the same presence that comes from the physicality of the original painting as an object on a wall. The light falls differently on the textures and glazes on its surface.

A coat of varnish has been applied to protect the painted surface from dust and UV light. The work is signed on the front and a catalogued certificate of authenticity is attached to the back. The artwork will be carefully packaged and sent fully insured via a tracked courier.
