Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

My photograph of a traditional old green painted front door on the Canary Island, Lanzarote.

Green windows, doors and white buildings are a feature of buildings and structures on this wonderful Island. They are not only the rule but anything else is an exception, a true social employment of a universal idea and concept.

A concept re-inforced and promoted by the late Cesar Manrique, a Lanzarote native artist and a contemporary of Picasso that I greatly admire.

Of course the number 8 is recognised as a very lucky number in many cultures.
