Artist's description:

This beautiful reduction linocut in cool blues and creams was inspired by the celebrations of 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare. It shows Oberon and Titania from A Midsummer Night's Dream.

They are separated by their anger; Oberon is in the winter brought about by his jealousy, while Titania is protecting the little page boy in a summery wood. We know of course that by the end of the play all will be well, and they will come together again.
