Artist's description:

Title: Nude Woman Charcoal Study 69
My latest charcoal nude study is inspired by a Brisbane woman. She is a fan of my art and wanted to see me create works based off yoga poses. I started with this as it felt so calm, peaceful and beautiful to me. I imagined this work as a sculpture, creating with a focus on space and balance.

I create as I see and add shadows through imagination. I include hints of stretch marks, scars and dimples as I think these add to the feminine beauty. I use a smooth brushing effect as I create the curves and blend the shadows.

My charcoal drawings are sealed with high quality fixatives and have been sold worldwide to art collectors and businesses. The thick 220gsm art paper work is not framed, though will suit a regular A2 frame.

Materials used:

Charcoal on 220gsm paper- (unframed)
