Artist's description:

The Art:
This art piece had been completed a month ago, until I decided to change her through simplifying my perspective. I needed to think for a while and see how I felt. I now feel she is complete and tells a story of beauty and bright life. I use high contrast in my works to visually and emotionally explain my thoughts on life and death.

My Purpose:
These art pieces are focused on my interests in the philosophies behind 'existentialism'. I am fascinated in the small degree of separation between humans and other living forms and the notion of death motivating all living purposes. I aim to inspire the acceptance of nudity through feminine shapes and elaborate shadowing. Our skin tells the story of our journey in life and should be celebrated.

Materials used:

Charcoal sealed on A2 110gsm white paper- not framed
