Original artwork description:

Initially inspired by the the idea of greatly magnifying the details of some tiny forget-me-not flowers an abstract narrative started playing out as I sketched for this painting. The figure follows the light of the fading sun leaving behind her a trail of her own light. There is a deliberate ambiguity between night and day, a toying with time, space and dimensions. Everything is connected, everything moves in cycles and circles.
