Original artwork description:

The latest in my series of A4 paintings of ice lollies depicts a classic and personal favourite of mine, the Nobbly Bobbly.

If you've never had one, a Nobbly Bobbly contains strawberry flavoured ice cream with a chocolate centre, and is coated with another thin layer of iced chocolate and a lot of coloured sugar balls. Called either sprinkles or hundreds-and-thousands depending on where you grew up, it's this super colourful outer layer that give the lolly its distinctive name.

As usual with my artworks the emphasis is on colourful graphic impact rather than realism, and the object is set against my trademark light blue background. This particular series often depicts the lolly in 3D and with a bite mark missing, making it seem extra tempting!

The end result is a colourful painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone with a sweet tooth.

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame for display purposes. A4 frames are easy to find however.
