Artwork description:

From the series: Universal Wisdom Learned Under a London Bridge
Photograph + handwritten haiku from Lockdown London.
"Ordinary world
Somehow we have to survive
Vacuume of the heart"
(Reference Duran Duran)
People ask me what comes first – the image or the words. But for me they seem to emerge complete. Connected. Ultimately they represent moments that thrilled me, taught me, saved me.
The photos and poems are moments of of physics and metaphysics - sacred and profane. We face a dark night of the soul together; yet in isolation.
All photos come with 2cm white border where it is signed, numbered and 'haiku-ed'
I am a photographer, haiku poet and writer from New Zealand now living in London. I have travelled the world on a treasure hunt to find the right light and the right words to do life justice
