Artist's description:

This work was inspired by the life love and death of those around me. It signifies the end of their corporeal journey and the transition into the next energetic phase.
I hope the viewer will see it as an obviously captured static phase of the transition, but within that, the insinuation of the ebb and flow of the transformation taking place.
I decided to make the frame and canvas myself as a representation of the life we create, I chose the paints nearest to me to represent the tools we have access to in life and the style as my interpretation of my emotion and idea of these transitional periods of our lives.
