Artist's description:

This is part of my Painted Music series.

I would like to quote Dr.Seuss here to drive my point home.
“Words and pictures are yin and yang. Married, they produce a progeny more interesting than either parent.”
It is an apt description of the relationship between the two, when used judiciously. And then, to take it to a higher level, you have the great mélange of music and art. What a powerful combination to convey one’s thoughts! Music can access those recesses of the soul, whose existence we are not even aware of.
So here I present my tribute to The Nights in White Satin, with my own artistic interpretation. One of the most glorious classics in the history of the blues music genre.
This was one of the rather difficult pieces to portray as it had to resemble white satin and at the same time, conveying a sense of the song… of the uncertainty of love, the beauty of that love, the longing for the love that keeps one awake at night…
