Original artwork description:

I live in France opposite the war memorial and every year at this time my thoughts return to the fallen who are commemorated there. The poppy is the symbol of remembrance in the UK, the cornflower or 'bleuet' is the flower of remembrance in France. This picture represents my own thoughts of remembrance at this time. Now I think I must paint another in blue for the land of my adoption.
This picture is sold unframed with a mount and backboard and is painted with Winsor Newton watercolour professsional paints on Arches 300 gm 100% cotton watercolour paper.

Materials used:

watercolour, paper
