Original artwork description:

Neva Regatta
Silver air is a special feature of the beloved city of St. Petersburg. Thanks to this, we are accustomed to all sorts of nuances of pastel colors. There are no open bright colors around. Everything is tender, unsaid. Solid hints, something between the lines.
I love to paint this city. Its symmetry and elegance, spacious streets, wide Neva River, playful canals. There is a pure walking mood.
I wrote this etude on Hare Island, that's the name of the heart of St. Petersburg. There's a fortress behind me. I have a sea Highday ahead of me. Decorated yachts gathered for the regatta. The crews are excited, everyone's eyes are shining. This is the excitement of the yacht highday that I wanted to capture.I feel Wind, Summer and Youth of the soul. Life is beautiful!!

Materials used:

linen canvas, massive pine tree frame work, oil paints, acrylic primer, palette knife
