Artwork description:

Before she was Salacia, the Goddess of the Sea, she was a shy nymph who hid from Neptune to preserve her virginity. Eventually he found her hiding in the Atlantic with the help of a dolphin. She was so awed by him that she gave up her natural free spirit when they married and had three kids. C’est la vie.

This photo is actually of their date night. She hides in various ruins by the sea, naked and waiting for him to find her. The game is on. Sometimes he finds her, sometimes he doesn’t. They say she’s insatiable, so who knows what happens after that.

Materials used:

original transparency, digital scan, archival color paper
