Natures Healing Waves is about femininity and women's connection with the earth. Far from being victims a woman's quiet sometimes fierce determination and passion are powerful forces both positive and negative. Beauty has its own attributes but many of us don't relate to our labels at all. However, most of us feel those things beneath the surface. Ambition, fortitude, diplomacy, warmth and compassion are all explored in my paintings and particularly in this painting through its mulriple layers, stark colours, sacred patterns and abstractions.
