Artist's description:

An original, unique acrylic painting, matt varnished, expressing the colour sensibility of the artist and keen sense of observation. Working from my sketchbook and iconic imagery of Burns, I used some monoprinting techniques to create this small painting.
Inspired by my love of the Scotish Highlands and the poet Robert Burns; the bard penned this in 1789 when he was 30, full of vigour and obvious song-writing talent (chorus)
"My heart's in the highlands, my heart is not here
My heart's in the Highlands a-chasing the deer
Chasing the wild deer and following the roe
my heart's in the Highlands wherever I go."

The painting will give the Artfinder collector as much pleasure as Fraser had in creating this artwork.
