Artist's description:

I painted this after one of my photomontages that I created on Photoshop (check out my Instagram page :D

It is a picture of the Swiss mountains (my homeland) in Verbier, a ski resort in the Alps. I combined that photograph I took with one of a mug I have here at home in Berlin.

I love creating impossible scenes; I believe the imaginary world is more interesting than the real world because it has so many more possibilities, it is infinite. I have always been fascinated by magic tricks and Surrealist artists such as Magritte.

I have an extensive portfolio of photographs I took (and take everyday) during holidays or my day-to-day life. Then I go about trying to juxtapose two or three images in a funny/weird way, and create a photomontage of them on Photoshop, which I have been self-learning and perfecting along the years.

My aim in creating these photomontages is to show people something they never saw before, a world they would never have imagined before, a composition that will mark their minds forever. My work is open to all interpretations, and I take pleasure in confusing people even more by giving titles to my photos that are not descriptive, but rather uncanny and random.

I hope you like it! Xx
