Artist's description:

Mountain hares are the smaller cousins of the Brown or European Hare. Their coats turn white in winter to camouflage them in the snow. Hares live in very exposed habitats, and rely on camouflage, acute senses and running at speeds of up to 45mph to evade predators.
This painting is done in a loose watercolour style. It is unframed but comes mounted in a mid blue frame with a backing mount.
