Artist's description:

"My inspiration for this painting is my local Llanllwni Mountain. I worked from watercolour sketches I made in situ. At the highest point the earth meets the sky and the changing weather is all encompassing. At times you really feel like there are four seasons in one day. I have used earth siennas and sap greens. The wind shakes up the earth and mixes it with the sky's Cereleum and Ultramarine blues". The painting is finished with a handmade and hand painted frame made by the artist.

I use the best (Michael Harding) oil paints brought to the surface with the energy of the brush. With spontaneity, I paint onto the canvas directly from the tube and my process is spontaneous, automatic, or subconscious in its creation. I then let the painting dry naturally for a couple of months before adding other layers of semi-transparent paint and finish with a layer of varnish for vibrance and longevity.

This is a one of a kind artwork. An original oil on canvas painting.
