Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

In Japanese culture, the cherry blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life - a reminder that life is beautiful but also short. And the hummingbird symbolises the enjoyment of life and lightness of being, so this artwork is a reminder to not waste a minute - to take in the beauty around us and soak it in. To enjoy life to its fullest!

This animated and vibrant 3D collage is designed using authentic Japanese chiyogami paper. Each component is carefully hand cut and placed at differing heights on the paper and stuck to the glass, imbuing this piece with real movement and depth.

The collage is done on Canford acid free paper and framed in a delicate lime washed and waxed Tulip wood frame.
