I started with the palette with this painting. I knew I wanted a harbour scene nestled under hills and I decided to use oranges along with the blues and neutrals to give an early morning feeling to the work. This is acrylic on board with some texture as I've built the painting up in layers. It features cottages, boats and harbour walls as well as my signature lifebuoy ring in bright orange.
I've varnished the painting and it comes framed in a wooden frame which I've upcycled with several coats of white paint and a final protective coat of wax. It's strung on the back and ready to hang.
It measures 48cm x 28cm x 2cm.
I’ve signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you would like it signed on the front and I’ll be happy to do so.
