Artist's description:

It was the end of a warm March day when we found ourselves on Belle Isle. We had watched the sunset and thought that all the colors were gone so we headed home. But first, one more drive around the island. As we approached the bridge back to Detroit I noticed that the water had turned to glass. Then, up ahead, I saw the Detroit skyline reflected in the river. It was then that I gave voice to The Call of the Photographer: "Stop The Car!"

This image is printed on metallic paper for a subtle glow.
