Monkey See, Monkey Do – 05-09-20

Monkey Business
In all of us there is a monkey tucked deep inside. How about your monkey business? What will you do when beautiful girls run on the beach? Where does human nature stop and animal instincts take over, or are they the same?

My Imagination
I sought to question human motivation for years and perhaps I dug too deep and found stuff in the basement I did not want to find. My imagination often takes over and my drawing techniques try to keep up with whatever fantasies may come. So don’t blame me and reflect on your own feelings towards this drawing: repulsion, hilarity, shock or artistic admiration?

In this drawing human kind still is in the majority, second the chimpansee, third the elephant. Let’s keep it that way but wait a minute: Everybody’s got something to hide except me and my monkey?

Graphite pencil drawing (Sakura 0.5 mm, Pentel 4B) on Winsor & Newton Bristol paper (21 x 29.7 x 0.1 cm) - A4 format)
