This is another version of "Money Beach" a larger format.
Today, the beaches are occupied, the plastic garden chairs are the queens of the beach, welcome to the mass tourism, soon there will be no longer free beaches. In my island, Corsica, to preserve nature you must paid the car park, this is a mean to reduce the crowd on the beaches, holidays look like everyday life ("métro, boulot, dodo"). Democratization causes a substantial influx, then to reduce the number they choose to tax the access to the beach... then where's democratization?
Today everywhere you go: you pay. Your life is worth nothing but it is very expensive to have a life.
I wanted a more abstract style that usually, with more restraint and sadness, as at twilight.
Leave the beach (and the sea) in the evening, is for me, every time, a kind of little death. This is why the sadness.
