Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

A dramatic scene showing an sailing ship approaching an Arabian shoreline. It was inspired by some lines in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales - it hadn't occurred to me how familiar medieval people would be with foreign lands.

I have printed two versions, one in rich red and yellow, the other in a deeper crimson red, and grey.

Materials used:

Pure white Japanese kozo paper, oil based printmaking ink.
