Artist's description:

The subject of this painting is pretty self-explanatory. The portrait of an aging woman, trying to come to terms with "the change of life" she just gone through and deal with her "new" version of self. This transitional period can be quite traumatic for many women and they need all support and understanding they can get while going through it. The subject of "graceful aging" is a tough one for me personally, so, I can very much relate to this woman's struggle to accept the changes affecting her femininity and to regain her confidence.

This original acrylic on canvas is signed and dated on a back and comes with Certificate of Authenticity. Finished with several coats of clear varnish. Ready to be hanged with or without a frame. Sides of canvas painted so framing is not necessary.
