Artist's description:

Since the Middle Ages, human bones have been a major subject for art. During the Renaissance, artists like Leonardo Da Vinci were keenly interested in human anatomy and made studies of human bones. I carry on this tradition by drawing the skull my sister studied in medical school. The title of the piece is Memento Mori, which means "remember you are mortal." This drawing is the perfect acquisition or gift for someone who is fascinated with anatomy, science, still life, and the age-old theme of memento mori.
