Original artwork description:

A large, dynamic and vibrant painting that may take a while to appreciate. it started off as another in my metropolis series, but metamorphosed into something quirkier when I did the sky.

Most of the foreground was painted using various sizes of palette knife. The worm shaped objects in the sky were done with a sponge, removing the top layer of wet paint.

The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. More paint added and spread with a palette knife. Sponge used to remove areas of wet paint.
