This painting features the village of Bouzigues, a Mediterranean village in the south of France, famous for its shellfish. This place is lovely in Winter when most of the tourists have gone because it's quiet, the light is exceptional and the oysters delicious. This painting was started on location on a linen canvas and finished in my studio. Watercolors made in-situ were used as studies to complete it.
This work is ready to hang. The last photo with a frame is for reference only but it can be framed like that (wooden floating frame) on request.
