This painting was inspired by a scenic McWay Falls - an 80-foot-tall waterfall on the coast of Big Sur in central California that flows year-round from McWay Creek in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, about 37 miles south of Carmel. The overlook trail for McWay Falls is a must-stop for anyone taking the scenic drive up Highway One along the Big Sur Coast. The waterfall is stunning, dropping some 80 feet onto a pristine beach in an enchanting cove.

Oil on Claessens Double Oil Primed linen on 4"x6"x7/8" cradled Professional Art Panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. Ready to be displayed on a desk or hung on a wall.
