Artist's description:

This is my favorite neighborhood in my city. The houses are from another era and were the original homes in Santa Rosa. They're beautiful, stately, and have gorgeous gardens. The residents are all very friendly and like to come by and watch us paint and have a little chat. There are lots of large established trees, so there is plenty of shade. It's an ideal setting. This was a morning painting of these homes with just enough contrast to make it interesting. I painted it on Fabriano Oil paper which was glued onto a birch plywood board. It's a wonderful surface. It comes unframed, but can be framed for an extra charge. I usually don't frame my work since I don't know you decor or taste. Good, reasonable frames are available at .

Materials used:

Fabriano oil paper mounted on birch plywood and premium archival oil paints
