The Martello Towers at Hythe are a very recognisable feature. They have sat facing the English Channel for over 200 years as part of our coastal defences.
The shingle beach settles in waves and is made up of stones of many sizes and colours.
I have tried to capture the atmosphere of the evening light and used a fairly restricted palette
so as to echo the colours between the sky, towers, and stones.
