Artist's description:

A still life which is entirely painted with the fanbrush in soft muted colors in a dynamic brushtouch.
This painting is a very personal one... I made it while working at the theme "Meditative". I was doing some research about how to paint out of a meditative state of mind. During meditation everything in my mind calmes down, softens and becomes boundless. This reflects in the transition of the colours and the focussing during the paintingproces. That's why I think it fits the theme "Muted Colours"and so this is one of my contributions to the Liquitex competition on Artfinder.
In this still life I collected objects that meant a lot to me in a symbolic way. The little buddha reminds me to be more in the here and now and live in the moment, the necklace was a gift from my love at the birth of our daughter. The tiny cuddlesheep my daughter gave to me on a mothersday, because she thaught I was the best mom;-). The turquoise tealightholder helps me to always hold on to the light no matter how tough life can be sometimes.

This work is framed with an off-white passepartout and an aluminium Nielsen frame. (picture will follow soon).

Materials used:

Fluid acrylics on Canson paper
