Original artwork description:
This is part of a short series of abstracts called marine which are dominated by strong blues. It is a dynamic artwork that would look great in a variety of settings but would particularly suit a modern flat or apartment, or maybe a summer house by the sea.
After the background was painted and allowed to dry more paint was added directly to the canvas and spread using palette knives.
The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. More painted added directly to the canvas and spread with palette knives.
