Marijke Akkers-Kersten - 06-11-17 (sold)
Some time ago my mother and I visited the Mauritshuis at The Hague, Netherlands, in order to show the neighbor's girl around all the goodies of Vermeer and Rembrandt. She was looking out the window to the Prime Minister's tower ('t Torentje) of Mark Rutte and I immediatey saw a way to capture the quality of the light ressembling Vermeer's oil paintings. My roundism style did the rest.
Graphite pencil drawing (Pentel 0.5 mm, 3B) on Lana Bristol paper (21 x 29.7 x 0.1 cm) - A4 format)
Artist: Corné Akkers
