Artist's description:

I've become fascinated with making patterns of my floral photos and have decided to start painting the results of my efforts. I am a fairly recent transplant to Denver, Colorado and have been absolutely enthralled by how happy and vibrant all the flowers here have been throughout the spring and summer seasons. In Texas, where I've always lived prior to Denver, flowers have to be very strong to survive the summer heat and are rarely as juicy and colorful as they are here in Denver. The contrast of Texas florals to Colorado florals is indescribable. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of a neighbor's marigolds and love it as much as I loved painting it. And just to let you know, I can paint the edges white or leave them as black, to suit your style. Thanks for stopping by!
