Original artwork description:

A day alone in a new city. A sense of freshness and freedom, excitement, longing. I noticed a Victorian redbrick building and I loved its texture and colour. I loved the way the sky reflected from the windows and how the shadows gathered below. This work is a lovely souvenir of Manchester and a great addition to any collection.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.

Materials used:

acrylic and card
