Artist's description:

Taken from an infra-red photograph that I took of a friend of mine in Westminster Cemetery, West Brompton, London, in 1986 when we did a photoshoot there. It's all about being aware of one's own mortality and so Death's hands are seen writing our fate in the sky. I wanted this to look like a cover illustration for some Gothic Horror Pulp Fiction Paperback that we used to have in abundance back in the 1960s and 1970s.
