Artist's description:

This is a mixed media collage using acrylic paint, images from an original 1930's copy of Country Life Magazine, a 1950's theatre programme, a 1914 dictionary page and two original handwritten poems form a 1914 war journal. The poems read:

Don't look for the flaws as you go through life,
And even when you find them,
'Tis wise and kind to be sometimes blind,
And look to the virtues behind them.

Smiles cost less than electric light,
And make the World far brighter.
