Artist's description:

This is one of the original artworks from my Remarkable Women series, where I explored many outstanding women from different times and cultures. Soong Mei-ling is the first Chinese woman to appear on Time magazine cover. She was called the "most powerful woman in the world" by Life magazine. She played a prominent role in modern Chinese history and China-US relations. Hope you like it!

I intended to combine pencil drawing with watercolor to create an old-time look. This is done on a 140lbs watercolor paper and sprayed with fixative for protection. The artwork can fit 5x7 or 6x9 frames. Paper can be cut into the desired/actual image size if you like.

It will be wrapped in tissue papers and mailed in a rigid cardboard envelop to ensure it stays flat and no bending. It will also be insured up to the value of the artwork.

Please feel free to ask any questions! Thank you for viewing!

Materials used:

Watercolor and watercolor pencil
