This unique pop art canvas shows a mountain of macaroni cheese forming as the food stuff floats down and piles up at the bottom on the painting. The pieces of cheese-covered macaroni pasta are rendered in bright acrylic paint. The black outlines were done using Posca paint pens.
This is the latest in my 'pop art food' series. I love painting food in this simple graphic way to the point that it becomes pattern-like. Andy Warhol painted tins of tomato soup, this is my comfort food equivalent. It's a bold bright painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for the food lover lover in your life!
It is painted on a stretched cotton canvas that's ready to hang as the pattern goes around the edge, as picture. PLEASE NOTE that the third image showing Egg and Bacon is another item in my shop that needs to be bought separately.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield. The fifth image shows some of the other paintings available in my shop.
