In creating this piece, I was drawn to the delicate dance between the ethereal and the corporeal. I've layered watercolors to capture the deep, fluid backdrop, symbolizing the vastness within us. The gilded branches, reminiscent of bronchial trees, unfold in a golden splendor, their fine details whispering tales of life's precious breath. This work lives in the space between minimalism and surrealism, inviting contemplation and a serene energy to any space it graces.
The charcoal frame is covered with yacht varnish. Valeria also used gold leaf for this painting.
